A self-contained four bedroom private villa located beachside on Cerf Island. Villa de Cerf was opened in November 2009 with the prime intention of providing quality private villa accommodation on a superb beach, yet within a short boat transfer distance from the main island of Mahe. Set within the marine national park, the surrounding ocean provides an excellent opportunity from which to experience exciting yacht or motor boat excursions, snorkelling and scuba diving among the local reefs.
The essence of Villa de Cerf is that of pampered tropical life style. Upon arriving you will be met by the resident manager whose raison d'etre is your comfort and enjoyment. The villa has a swimming pool area leading on to a shaded verandah where one can sit, relax, watch the distant subtle movements over the three mile stetch of the sea to Mahe. Most days the verandah will also serve as your dining area, again with gloroius views across the pool towards Mahe. At nightime this view of the distant lights, starlit skies and gentle lapping of the waves makes Villa de Cerf such a gem.
A spacious air conditioned lounge area with a bar offers a cool retreat from the exterior. The main staircase leads up to the four bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and doors opening onto the seaview balcony. These four bedrooms are very spacious with king size beds and air conditioning (see accommodation details below). From your bedroom you wander outside onto the sea-facing open balcony a perfect location for your tropical breakfast of local fruits and juices, cheeses, pastries and fresh ground coffee. The villa cook is on hand to provide your requirements, at ant time of the day. The emphasis will be on delicious creole cuisine using local fresh products.
For the slightly active, the villa owner provides a highly experienced service on his motor yacht for excursions around Cerf or other islands, also boat trips and game fishing.
Your Villa host will be on hand to make the holiday as comfortable as possible for you.
Transfer Time:
From Mahe International airport approximately 30 minutes which includes the 10 minute boat transfer to Cerf Island
