The Seychelles archipelago covers 400,000 sq km of the Indian Ocean and is abundant in fish due to its rich Eco system.  The best fishing is found on the edge of the Seychelles Bank, for example near the islands of Denis, Alphonse, Bird and Desroches.

Here are some of the pleasures in store for you:

• Wahoo or Kingfish – capable of 80kph
• Sailfish – highly acrobatic
• Yellowfin and Skipjack Tuna – two of the best fighting fish
• Dorado – colourful and very tasty
• Barracuda – Seychelles holds the men’s 14kg world record for this fighter
• Marlin ( Black Marlin) – perhaps the most sought after game fish, ranging from 45kg to 450kg
